Full Day Trip to Ousoud WaterFalls from Marrakech :

The day trip starts when you meet your guide at 09:00 at your hotel. Enjoy the two and a half hours drive to Ouzoud Waterfalls in the comfort of a private vehicle. Take a break along the way at Imi-n-Ifri nature’s own bridge, where slow moving water has carved a stunning archway across a deep, ochre canyon. To enjoy the moment and take in the beauty of the surroundings, you need to take time for a glass of traditional Moroccan mint tea.

Continue to the Ouzoud Waterfalls, where you can follow your guide on a short walk around the waterfalls and through a grove of olive trees to reach the foot of the falls, witnessing the water cascading into a red pool coloured (due to the presence of red iron oxides in the soil). Hiring a local guide will help you discover hidden caves around the falls and explore the surroundings at your own pace where you are likely to come across the monkeys that took up residence at Ouzoud or travel across the base of the falls on a hand operated ferry boat.

soaking up the magic of the moment of the water falling into the red pool. Through your local guide you will learn how the locals harness the power of the river to operate the water mill to grind the grain. If you hike to the top of the nearby cliff you get the perfect views of the green and red scenery. You’ll have time to stop for lunch at one of the restaurants perched on the edge of the river before meeting up with your driver for the return journey to Marrakech.
