9 Days Trek to Saghro Assaka Mountain from Marrakech :

DJebel Saghro (middle mountain) is characterized by the high concentration of its silver ore content. It is located to the south of both the Dades Valley and the Atlas Mountains and acts as a gateway to the Sahara. The Jebel Saghro is very interesting for its geological (volcanic nature) and cultural significance, as the many petroglyphs to be found on rock face, show that this area was inhabited during the Neolithic period. The caves that dominate the landscape are still in use today by the nomads and their flocks, as both dwellings and granaries, during their winter migration cycle.
