Full Day Trip to Essaouira from Marrakech :

You will be picked up from Marrakech in the morning to start your journey to visit Morocco’s charming Atlantic port of Essaouira. The journey is broken with coffee break stop followed by a visit to a women’s co-operative making argan oil.

Once in Essaouira you set out for a city tour to discover a melting pot of Berber, African and Portuguese influences where you can take a guided tour of the harbour with its 18th-century sea fort and explore the old medina with its colourful markets and jewellery quarter. Discover the Skala, famous for its rows of gigantic cannons that face out to the Atlantic Ocean or simply lose yourself in the municipal market.

There are plenty of fine seafood restaurants in the city to tempt you for a lunch break. After a well-earned break, you can resume your tour and explore the main square, which is just across the way from the port, where you can find cafes, patisseries and restaurants that will test your will power to resist your taste buds. The rest of the day is spent at a leisurely pace for you to enjoy the charm of this resort before making your way back to Marrakech in the evening, where your tour will end.
